continuamos con una nueva entrega de la secci\u00f3n <strong>Destripando Jazz Standards<\/strong> con un est\u00e1ndar de Jazz publicado en la d\u00e9cada de los 30, <em data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"761\">There Is No Greater Love<\/em> se impuso r\u00e1pidamente en el repertorio del jazz. La colaboraci\u00f3n entre Isham Jones y Marty Symes dio lugar a una composici\u00f3n que, con el paso del tiempo, ha sido interpretada por leyendas como Billie Holiday y Chet Baker, entre otros. Su difusi\u00f3n en clubes nocturnos y radios consolid\u00f3 su lugar como uno de los est\u00e1ndares m\u00e1s solicitados para jam sessions, reflejando la sensibilidad de una \u00e9poca en la que la m\u00fasica se transformaba en un veh\u00edculo para expresar emociones intensas.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque hoy en d\u00eda Isham Jones es una figura casi olvidada, en su d\u00eda lideraba una de las mejores orquestas de bailes de EE. UU. En la d\u00e9cada de los &#8217;20, Jones era uno de los artistas que m\u00e1s discos vend\u00edan&#8230; llegando a contar con siete N\u00ba 1<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>La primera grabaci\u00f3n cont\u00f3 la orquesta de Isham Jones, quien encomend\u00f3 la parte vocal al mism\u00edsimo <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Woody_Herman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Woody Herman<\/a>: un joven de 22 an\u0303os al que habi\u0301a contratado por su triple faceta de cantante bailari\u0301n y saxofonista. Herman, sin embargo, nunca se habi\u0301a visto a si\u0301 mismo como inte\u0301rprete de baladas hasta que Jones le asigno\u0301 ese papel.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que Ish, como se lo llamaban en los c\u00edrculos musicales, fue mu\u0301sico de jazz, saxofonista tenor, contrabajista, compositor y director de Big Band. Estas variaciones crean un ambiente sofisticado y ofrecen a los improvisadores m\u00faltiples posibilidades para explorar escalas y modos.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2296\" data-end=\"2634\"><strong data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2322\">Innovaci\u00f3n Arm\u00f3nica:<\/strong> Los cambios inesperados en la tonalidad, especialmente en la secci\u00f3n puente, enriquecen la paleta sonora del tema y permiten un di\u00e1logo musical din\u00e1mico.
